R&D

Frozen on another monitor 2026-10-13: Dragging the browser to a screen with a different scaling froze this site. The cause: a visual effect writing outside a grid that had just shrunk.
Purges that never purged 2026-10-13: Varnish answered 200 to every PURGE, yet translated pages stayed stale. Four chained defects, found with the Age header, one of them hitting any non-ASCII slug on any WordPress that purges Varnish.

Trivia

Why NFO files stop at 79 columns 2026-10-13: An 80x25 text screen has 80 columns, yet most scene NFOs never use the last one.
